Kae B. Wright was born and raised in Lincolnton, NC. She attended Central Piedmont College in Charlotte NC for two years studying art and advertising design. Kae studied under numerous well known artists in the south east such as Ben Long, Gerald Brommer and Carrie Brown to name a few. Ms. Wright worked for twelve plus years in advertising as a fashion illustrator for a major department store chain and has taught private art lessons for seventeen years. She also served as Executive Director of a local arts organization for almost four years.

Kae now paints, exhibits and enters competitions regionally. She has won numerous awards for her work. She resides in Lincolnton with husband Michael and their dog Jackson. She currently serves as art coordinator for Carolinas Medical Center-Lincoln.

I embrace the creative process that threatens to keep me in a world of my own, while sensing that I am not alone. Always anticipating the next blast of ideas that may spill into my next painting or project. Appreciating the simple pleasures, is where I am at the moment. I hope this never ends."
